The Rakes coming to the Varsity July 11th!!!!!

My uncle craig's dream has come true, his favorite u.k. band at the moment is coming to the best theater in the states. These guys have collaborated with maximo park, bloc party, and many more high energy english bands. Their new album capurture/release has done great in the u.k with their hit single retreat. My favorite is easily animals. The comparisons can be made to the stokes, but these guys are just another great u.k. band with stellar guitar rifs and classic british vocals. So far the varsity has realed in the subways, the rakes, and the futureheads. Who's next kasabian, razorlight, nine black alps, the cribs??? I sure hope so. Well anyways I think this news is huge and I sure hope they draw a crowd. If it's a packed house they will spread good word on minneapolis to all the other u.k. bands.
