Laura Marling on The Culture Show!
After recently turning 18, Laura performs with her full band here, when playing several shows in NYC she just had her drummer. Cross Your Fingers/Crawled Out of The Sea is two songs in one, and I absolutely love both. A lot of people may think shes just a young folk singer with a pretty face, but when listen to lyrics and hear here incredible voice you will find a great deal of talent. The obsession I have and most of her fans have is with voice, intelligence, and independence she has with her music. Laura just played 3 shows down in Austin and is playing tonight in L.A. (March 17th) at Hotel Cafe. Lets all hope and pray that she sets up a full tour around the states very soon. Keep and eye out for Ms. Marling.

Very nice song from one of the UK's
most talented young artists.
The UK is very lucky to have television shows like The Culture Show, Jools Holland, and Lily Allen
to showcase incredible talent - the US (besides the one song on each late night show) has unfortunately nothing as good.
the Lily Allen show is awful though
Just my opinion, have looked at some of the Youtube segments of Lily's show, thought she has done a fair job of being a showhost, she's still new at it so she will get better, after all she's not doing Hamlet. The music segments have been pretty good, check out the Charlatan's recent appearance.
Notice the camara work, US TV networks could learn a few new angles.
