Sting's Son Turns out to be a Joke, while The Bravery Continues to Pollute our Ears with Bad Music.

The real Sting from The Police is a legend, but unfortunately his son is not. Joe Sumner is the lead singer of the god awful rock band Fiction Plane . Joe the lead singer is very independent and doesn't try to be just like his daddy. I respect that, but when he wears a new york knicks jersey with scarfed up black shorts, it looks like he just got out of jail. To me he is an embarrassment to mankind. I didn't want to be this mean, but the splitting headache I received from this show forced me to lash out on somebody.

My uncle had been begging me to just go see a bad show on purpose, well he got his wish, this one was your basic disaster. Well I'll be honest I didn't even stick around for the Bravery, I think my head would have exploded. I did see their horrible performance when they opened for ASH back in 2005. The one highlight of the night was the videos played by the Fineline on the projector screen. They played Blur, The Kooks, The Fratellies, and of course the classic Fat Boy Slim video with Christopher Walken.
For those of you wondering why I went to this show in the first place?? I was put on the list thanks to the band Your Vegas, another opening band who wasn't that bad. Thank God.
Thanks Fiction Plane for giving me a headache for a week, I guess I'll keep taking my vicotin until the pain dulls away.

Here is something we can all enjoy Fatboy Slim "Weapon of Choice video"

I was at the show. I won tickets. Bravery were terrible. It sounded like Bravery karaoke...the guy couldn't carry any sort of tune. Plus, someone spilled their entire beer on my shoes. No more GA shows for me for awhile...
