First time I've seen locals A Night in the Box, very energenic and perform a wide range of Americana
styles.
Second time for Victory Ship, I really like this band, great guitar work - see both these local bands if you get the chance. Both bands enjoy the challenge of getting the audience involved in their sets, a fun time.
Also enjoyed the young NZ band Cut Off Your Hands, very talented - Bernard Butler produced one of their EP's, check out their new LP release "You and I". They also have a bunch of shows scheduled for SXSW.
