The Cribs @ The Varsity 3/26/08
The Cribs are incredible. I really enjoyed their "sound check party" where they took requests from a few fans and played some tracks from their first album. Their were unfortunately less than 200 people at the show, but the Jarman bros tore it up and even played a Replacements cover. Next time they better have an encore! I also forgot to ask Ryan(the lead guitarist) who's opening for Kate Nash on her American tour since the two have been dating. Damn. Anyways, The Cribs will be writing this summer and hopefully will have their forth album coming sometime early in 2009. Their drummer Ross said, "we already have 4 songs recorded with Johnny Marr, were just looking to find time to record more." I smell a full length album with new member Johnny Marr! Screw Modest Mouse, The Cribs are better.

C'mon Brody, no reason to trash MM. When the Cribs record an album as good as 'Lonesome Crowded West' then we can talk. Was sorry to miss this one-just didn't have the energy after driving back from Milwaukee. Sounds like a fun show-as good as BSP? That was a riot.
I know, I love Modest Mouse no worries, i am a bigger cribs fan, lets leave it at that. Yea road trips are draining especially if you have to drive. The Cribs was definitely as good as BSP.. They'll be back.
LOL Brody, you is funny ;) Yeah, great gig, not quite as good as Turf Club, though... Still, it rocked.
Best band from Wakefield by far ;)
See ya soon, take care.
... and yeah, I'm "officially" back on the scene.
