Phase 2- Moonrats/Pretty Girls Make Graves...
Walking into this show I was just excited to hear some different sound. And boy did I ever Moonrats lead singer went a little Hendrix on guitar while spitting out some pretty good vocals. The lead singer was originally from Pretty Girls Make Graves. They have an E.P. that is phenomenal. Very loud guitar with drums, keys, and a little female backing vocals...
Pretty Girls Make Graves had your classic Be your own pet, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Metric sound but definetly with a twist. The vocals were very silent with all of the heavy guitar and keys surrounding the set... The lead guitarist had quite the sound system set up, with about 10 different foot pedals.. I went all over the place to stand at this show to really get a different sound from these guys. Great energy just a different look and a little better vocals...

heh.
Pretty Girls Make Graves have been around for quite a while, certainly way longer than YYY's and WAY WAY longer than Be Your Own pet.
