The Bloodsugars(NYC) kickin it with Koo Koo Kanga Roo @ Nomad 6/10

Jason Rabinowitz is starting to tear things up with his NYC dance band The Bloodsugars. JR's vocals are very strong and has got the classic rock n roll hair. Remind me of the bands Tigercity, Rooney, and VHS or Beta.   With their hit single "Purpose Was Again" The Bloodsugars are poised to make a splash in the big apple.  They'll hit the recording studio again in August.  They have an EP out called BQEP, and a shirt with a piece of licorice on the front.  Now that is awesome. The Bloodsugars will be touring again in the fall.  Keep an eye on this talented 4 piece from Brooklyn.

Koo Koo Kanga Roo

I gotta give mad props to my buddy Neil to his hip hop duo band, Koo Koo Kanga Roo.  The two minneapolis rappers busted out their moves and spit their game.  They used some interesting stage props and of course danced around with the crowd.  

If you like Hip Hop check these guys out, very entertaining.

Kanye West-Did You Realize That Your a Champion In Your Eyes?

Not a big Hip Hop fan, but this track called "Champion" by Kayne West is a must have your Summer/Party Mix.  Hip Hop died after 2Pac and Biggy died, in my opinion.  But their are some good artists out there today.

Kayne is set to play at the Target Center apart of the Glow in the Dark tour (June 11th) here in Minneapolis.  Rihanna, N.E.R.D. and Lupe Fiasco are set to be the openers for West.
