Noah and the Whale Interview Backstage @ the 7th St. Entry in Minneapolis!

[Press the HQ(High Quality) Button for better quality picture, once video starts.]

These guys are incredible musicians and comedians. Charlie Fink, Tom Hobden, and Matt "Urby" Owens were hysterical. Working on a second full length album, Noah and the Whale has an extremely bright future. I'd say they're leading the charge for all the other U.K. folk artists/bands. Not to mention lead singer Charlie Fink produced Laura Marling full length album. I sure hope they make another record with Laura. Can't wait to see what else this band brings to the table! Thanks guys! Cheers.

Shape Of My Heart

Noah and the Whale Takeover!!!!!

One of the best new bands is hitting the big stage with their debut album due at summers end. Noah and the Whale was formed in London back in 2006. Arguably the best record of 2008 so far. Laura Marling sings in almost every track on their debut album and loves being part of this band.  She has been busy with her solo work but I'm sure will be back for another record with her first band.  It's also a very good bet considering she's dating Charlie Fink, the lead singer of Noah and the Whale.

Noah and the Whale-Shape of My Heart

Noah and the Whale's album, "Peaceful, the World Lays me Down," will be released on August 4th in the US and UK.
