Pomegranates Living the Dream in Austin Texas (SXSW 2010)

This was my favorite track to see live at SXSW 2010. I know it's the same exact part in the song in all three videos. Does anyone
know the name of this song? Pomegranates are from Cincinnati and are currently working on a new album.

Photo Reel #2 of SXSW 2010!

More with The Kissaway Trail from Denmark!

Above was my favorite video shot down in Austin Texas at Friends Bar on the famous 6th Street. I recently did a podcast recaping SXSW with my friend Vu over at WeHeartMusic.com here. I also talk about future plans that the Kissaway Trail have and the recent interview I had with the band. At the 20 minute mark of the podcast is when I talk in depth on The Kissaway Trail.

Brody reports on SXSW.

About 1,500 bands landed in Austin, Texas, for SXSW... playing from Monday to Sunday (official start day was Wednesday). Brody takes us through his adventure.

Favorite bands from SXSW this year, Brody said were: The Kissaway Trail from Denmark (whom we just saw last Tuesday), The Boxer Rebellion from England, and Frightened Rabbit from Scotland.

Also, it looks like VV Brown will be massive and look for a collaboration with Blonde Redhead and The Kissaway Trail in the near future.

2010 SXSW PHOTO SAMPLER FROM BRODY! ONCE AGAIN THE TIME OF MY LIFE!

Thanks again to everyone that came with in the RV. Nothing beats taking an RV down to awesome. Hearing "Wicked Awesome", Looking at Gabe's beard, and seeing Pete's face covered in green made me laugh historically.

Can't wait to do it again next year!!!!!!!!

Stay tuned for more photos from SXSW and interviews with VV Brown, Athlete, and Kiernan McMullan.

Cheers -Brody

Interview with Jay Jay Pistolet @ SXSW 09!

I know Dylan's not from Minneapolis, he's from Hibbing. I had a few drinks.

Check this guy out.. Big things to come! He's in the Laura Marling, Mumford and Sons, Johnny Flynn group. The new classy english folk gang.

Here is he performing Hooked Up on Us and We Are Free

Not really digging the new tunes, but PB and J is still incredible live.

Be sure to catch Peter Bjorn and John Tuesday April 21st @ The Fineline Music Cafe

Glasvegas at SXSW 2009

Glasvegas @ SXSW 2009 from Brody McCoy on Vimeo.

Catching them at Vice was unbelievable Wednesday night. Hands down one of the top 3 bands at SXSW. I showed up at the big Scottish showcase at La Zona Rosa but left early on Friday. I wish i would of stayed for that whole bill. We Promised Jet Packs, Camera Obscura, Proclaimers, Primal Scream, and of course Glasvegas. It may have been the best showcase at south-by. Glasvegas already has that arena band sound when they hit the stage live. I felt on top of the world when their big single "Geraldine" started. Favorite track i jumped around on was "Go Square Go".

To all you Minneapolis folks, be sure to catch these guys perform at the Varsity Theater April 7th!
