I can't get enough. The music is so sweet. What a performance from Ida Maria with the song "Queen Of The World"?  Is she the next big thing? Will she build up an american audience? The norwegian rockstar just turned 23, I'm sure she will have a great deal of success.

Say Hello to Ida Maria

Ladies and gentlemen I give you Ida Maria all the way from Nesna, Norway.  A little bit like Fierry Furnaces, Ida mixes her vocals with that classic rock n roll sound.  Canadian bands Metric and Land of Talk definitely come to mind as well.  She drew a ton of buzz at CMJ and most recently SXSW.  She's had a couple demos out and recently has a big single/7" out called Stella. She'll be coming to California for a few dates in the states in april, check out the dates below. Let's keep are fingers crossed for a full American tour.
